Patis Tesoro, the “Grand Dame of Philippine Fashion,” is back with a special exhibit called Busisi, which showcases a selection of exquisite art and intricate tapestries. Ongoing in SM Megamall up to July 14, 2022, the exhibit, curated by Gino Gonzales, is a collaboration project between SM and Finale Art File (which first exhibited Busisis in March 2022). The exhibition partners include Unang Panahon Arts and Antiques, SM Appliance Center, and HABI: The Philippine Textile Council.
Most known for modernizing baro’t saya and incorporating it into our daily lives, Tesoro has been working on preserving ethnic Filipino clothing for over thirty years.
