The 6th ASEAN Traditional Textiles Symposium was held in Bandar Seri Begawan, capital of Brunei Darussalam on November 2017. The official Philippine delegation was composed of Maribel Ongpin and Adelaida Lim, chairperson and president of HABI; The Philippine Textile Council, respectively; as well as Twinkle Ferraren; Marlon Martin, who exhibited Ifugao ikat pieces; and Dr. Norma Respicio, who presented a paper on Philippine traditional textiles.
